If you have the army come to your house to take away weapons and such. Isn't it best to hide them, bury them, or move them around from house to house, as opposed to trying to fire fight way more than you can handle?

I know some who would round up their own mother and be glad to turn her over to the Gestapo.

In the end it will be about food and privileges.

1-If you're a private citizen you have no rights and starve.
2-If you're part of TPTB you get to play macho man and your family gets to eat.

I would guesstimate 90% of the soldiers would go for option 2 without a second thought.

It's about survival...you're either employed by BIG BROTHER or you're an enemy of the state with no rights and future.

When asked why the people supported Hitler and his rule by terror tactics of turning neighbor against neighbor brand of patriotism.

They replied...

History will repeat itself...expect the worst...the average American yuppie mall rat is a hell of a lot dumber than you think.The military will have lot's of volunteer help,you can count on it.

Which is exactly why I have stopped preaching to most friends.
I tried, and that puts my soul at peace with it, whatever happens.
They begin to resent you, they begin to associate you with their own fears and failure to plan for the future - and they WILL remember that.

AND- It's that they want to be taken care of if, and when, TSeverHTF.
And not taken care of by you either, but by government.

I hope to change out all of my metal pipe fittings in favor of PVC soon, especially those damn P-traps. :D
